Mizoram is
one of the states of Northeast India, with Aizawl as its capital.
The name
is derived from Mi (people), Zo (hill) and Ram (land), and thus Mizoram implies
"land of the hill people".
Mizoram is
one of three states of India with a Christian majority (87%).
The Mizos
are a close-knit society. There is no class distinction and no discrimination
on grounds of sex. The people are mostly non- vegetarian and their staple food
is rice. Mizoram has a mild climate; with Heavy rains from May to September.
The literacy rate of Mizoram in 2011 was 91.33 per cent, second best among all
the states of India.
The word,
Tlawmngaihna is a very unique word of the Mizos. It is the word that none will
find any equivalent from other dialects.
Tlawmngaihna is the Mizos’ Codes of conduct of life and goodness. It is
the right virtue of selflessness, kindness and love. Every one refuses to be
helped, not for dreary. Keeping alive with no remorse; but with bravery, a
stout heart, to bear pain, until he’s a corpse.

La palabra
‘Tlawmngaihna’ es una palabra muy singular de los Mizos. Es la palabra que no
se encuentra ningún equivalente de otros dialectos.
Los Mizos
Tlawmngaihna es el de los códigos de conducta de la vida y la bondad. Es el
derecho de altruismo, bondad y amor. Cada uno se niega a ser ayudado, no de
lúgubre. Mantener vivo y sin remordimiento, pero con valentía, un corpulento
corazón, tener dolor, hasta que es un cadáver.
